DREAMer’s RoadMap-This is a national non profit app that helps undocumented students find scholarships to go to college.

Imagine America-Anyone that has graduated from high school and plans to attend a career school participating the Imagine America High School Scholarship Program.  A list of participating schools can be found at www.imagine-america.org/ourschools You can apply using the mobile app (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) or apply online at www.imagine-america.org/applyforscholarships

 

Jared Davis Memorial-At least $500 for a Winters High School graduate.  Must be planning on attending a 4 year college or university, community college or trade school.  Scholarships awarded based on scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service and completion of essay.  Handouts with specific information are available in the counseling office. Essays due to Marcella no later than March 22, 2019

 

McMahon-Graf-$2,000 scholarship for a Winters High School senior that will be graduating in May 2019.  Must have at least a 3.0 GPA, planning on attending a 4 year college/university or community college.  Must be majoring in the field of agriculture, natural resources, agri-business, or education. Paper applications are available in the counseling office.  Applications are due to Marcella no later than March 22, 2019.  Interviews will be held at a later date.

 

Sutter Davis Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship-Scholarship for a graduating senior that is interested in a health-related career, with emphasis on the field of nursing.  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Application deadline is March 31, 2019.

 

Yolo County Retired Police Officers Assoc.-$1,500 scholarship for a graduating senior that has an interest in pursuing a career in Law Enforcement (or a related field).  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Application deadline is April 1, 2019

 

Beta Alpha Beta-Two scholarships of $1,500 and $500 will be awarded to a graduating senior from Winters High School.  Must fill out application (available in the counseling office), submit a transcript and letters of recommendation.  Paper applications available in the counseling office. Applications due to Marcella in the counseling office on April 2, 2019.

 

Julia Millon Memorial Scholarship-$1,500 scholarship for a student from the Winters Joint Unified School District with at least a 2.5 GPA, planning to attend a 4 year college/university, community college, vocational, trade or technical school, demonstrate financial need.  An essay and 2 letters of recommendation are required. Applications are available online at https://sacregcf.academicworks.com/opportunities/867 application deadline is April 5, 2019.

 

Yolo Masonic Lodge-$500 scholarship, applicant must have a GPA of at least 3.00, must have taken an active part in service to his or her home, school and community, must have displayed honesty, loyalty, and reliability in the performance of his or her responsibilities.  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Applications due to Marcella no later than April 5, 2019.

 

Woodland Elks Lodge-$1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior.  Scholarship will be awarded on the following criteria-education goals, extra curricular activities, out of school activities, fiancial need.  Paper applications availalbe in the counseling office. Applications due to Marcella no later than April 8, 2019.

 

Yolo Co. Farm Bureau/Charlie Rominger Memorial-$1,500 scholarship for a senior entering a four-year college or university or community college AND pursuing a career in the agricultural industry.  Paper applications available in the counseling office. Applications due April 19, 2019.

 

CSEA Karen Hill Memorial-Scholarship for a Winters High School senior.  Essay and transcript required. Paper applications are available in the counseling office.  Applications due to Marcella no later than April 25, 2019.

 

Burns-Bellhorn-$2,000 scholarship for a graduating senior that will be attending a community college, vocational, trade or technical school in the fall.  GPA of at least 2.50. Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Applications due to Marcella Heredia or Jeff Sims no later than April 26, 2019.

 

Yolo Co. Pheasants Forever-$500 scholarship for a graduating senior that plans to attend an institution of higher education and major in wildlife biology, agriculture or a related field.  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Applications are due April 30, 2019.

 

Jessica Patricia Ortiz-Mendoza Memorial Scholarship-$250-$500 scholarship for a WHS senior planning to attend a two or four year college/university.  Must have at least a 3.00 GPA, must be a first generation college student. Paper applications are available in the counseling office.  Applications are due on May 1, 2019.

 

Lupe Ortiz Memorial Scholarship-$500 for a WHS senior, applicant must be part of the Migrant Education program, must be a first generation college student.  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Applications are due May 1, 2019.

 

Soroptimist Club of Winters-Scholarship available for a graduating senior female student from Winters High School.  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Applications are due to Marcella no later than 9:00 a.m. May 1, 2019.

 

Anytime Fitness Bleed Purple for WHS-Scholarship for a WHS senior planning on attending a 4 year college/university, community college or trade school.  Provide a written essay why you should be awarded scholarship or you can tell your story in any other way-a video, social media, art, cooking, a poem, a powerpoint, a song...options are endless.  More information and applications are available in the counseling office. Applications due to Marcella no later than May 3, 2019.

 

Humanist, Secular, Good without God-$2,500 scholarship presented by the Nickelson Family.  Write an article or essay to be published in the Winters Express, 6 different topics available.  Handouts with specific information is available in the counseling office. Application deadline is May 3, 2019.

 

Rotary Club of Woodland/Watts Family Scholarship-$500-$2,000 scholarships to Yolo County high school seniors studying to learn a marketable trade/technical degree.  Paper applications are available in the counseling office. Application deadline is May 3, 2019.

 

CACESF-Scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $2,500.  Student must submit an original essay on the following prompt: Debt collection agencies in the US have an important job of collecting unpaid consumer debts.  Why is unpaid debt collection so important to the US economy, and what personal finance strategies can you implement in your young adult life to ensure long-term personal financial stability?  All applications must be submitted online at www.cacsef.org  Application deadline is June 30, 2019.
